This Privacy Policy explains how Dibble ("Dibble," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our mobile app(s), features, and websites (together, the "Services").

Scope

This policy applies to information processed by Dibble in connection with the Services. It does not apply to third-party services you may use through the Services (for example, Google, Apple, or your app store), which are governed by their own policies.

Who Uses Dibble (Families and Children)

Dibble is designed for families. A parent or guardian ("Parent") may create and manage a family account and create child profiles. Child profile information is provided and managed by the Parent. Parents are responsible for supervising their children's use of the Services.

Third-Party Services

Depending on your platform and configuration, Dibble may use third-party services such as Firebase (Google) for authentication, data storage, cloud functions, file storage, messaging, remote configuration, analytics, crash reporting, and app integrity; and app store billing services for purchases. These providers may process information in connection with providing their services.

Dibble may send push notifications (for example, reminders and approvals) and local notifications scheduled on your device. You can control notification permissions in your device settings.

Diagnostics, Logs, and Bug Reports

To keep the Services reliable, we collect and process diagnostics such as crash reports and error logs. If you submit a bug report, you can choose whether to include additional diagnostics and/or a screenshot. Bug report bundles may be uploaded to our storage and referenced in our database for troubleshooting.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes (such as maintaining records, improving safety/security, resolving disputes, and complying with law). Retention periods can vary by data type.

Primary parents can delete the family account and associated family data from within the app: Settings -> Delete account and data. Instructions are also available at /delete-account.

Some information may be retained or anonymized where necessary for fraud prevention, security, auditing, or legal compliance.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To request assistance (including if you cannot access the app), contact help@dibble.app. We may need to verify your identity and relationship to the family account.

International Data Transfers

If you use the Services from outside the country where our servers or providers are located, your information may be processed and stored in other countries. We take steps designed to protect information in connection with international transfers as required by applicable law.

Children's Privacy

Parents create and manage child profiles. We encourage Parents to minimize the personal information entered for children. If you believe a child's information has been provided without appropriate consent, contact help@dibble.app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, if changes are material, provide additional notice as required by law.
